SWOP!

In five days I read a book called SWOP! There are two children called Emily and Tom and their parents are some where they don't say. One day the parents drop Emily and Tom off  at their Aunty Bette's house and they hate her so much that they decide to swop her for a spanish lady, a hippie, and a sailor. But they don't work until one day she gets so angry that she bursts out shouting at them and they slip away somewhere.

The Blackhope Enigma 

Sunni Forrest has spent lots of time in Blackhope Tower, the home of Fausto Corvo’s famous painting. So much that she feels as though she should know everything about The Mariner’s Return to Arcadia (the painting). This hasn’t stopped her, though, from getting to know Blaise Doran, her fellow classmate and rival painter. As Sunni and Blaise sit one afternoon studying the painting, they couldn’t know that they were finally about to learn the truth about Corvo's extraordinary skill. They just needed the help of Sunni’s stepbrother, Dean. Sunni and Blaise watched with wonder and horror as Dean recited an ancient  password, while he did this a labyrinth etched itself on the floor in the tower --- and he disappeared! He then suddenly appeared in the painting, they couldn’t believe it.

Fausto Corvo, the painter of The Mariner’s Return to Arcadia, is no different to any other painter, except Fausto Corvo hid secrets within his paintings. You just have to know where to look...

The Dog Squad 

The Dog Squad is about a dog that apparently is the James Bond of the dog world but he misses his prey. But because he is homeless, he needs somewhere warm to go in the winter. He is looking for a permanent home. He finds himself in a garden, the mother of the family gets mad at him for being in the garden. She calls the pound to take him away. But just before the dog catcher arrived, he met a kitten and the kitten helps save him so he does not go to the pound.
I  would recommend it for people that want some easy reading.

the ivory rose

 The Ivory Rose is about a girl called Sammy and she babysits a girl next door and she has done that for two weeks. Once they where playing hide and seek and she finds a rose made of ivory and pricks herself then she falls down the stairs and wakes up in 1863.

Flutter is a book about a girl named Maple and her big sister Dawn and their amazing journey to save their new little sister.

Big things are about to happen, at Maple's house. Maple's mum is going to have a baby. Which means now there will be four sisters instead of just three. But when baby Lily is born too early and can't come home from the hospital, Maple knows it's up to her to save her sister. So, she and her sister Dawn, find a map in a book, and some leftover dinner (from last night) and they head down to a river and up a mountain to find the Wise Woman. The Wise Woman looks after a pool with powers. But the dangers Maple and Dawn face on their journey, make them learn a few things or two about miracles and about each other.

I rate this book 4 stars out of five because it's a good read, and its exciting on what they face on their journey to save their  premature sister.
