Alice has done something very bad. So Zoë Collins picks up her pen and starts to write. This book is all about Alice needing to get all of her secrets off her back. So she decides to write letters to a man in prison who is about to be killed. Changing her name to Zoë she tells the prison man the back story of her life. This book is all of the letters ever sent to the prison man. Zoë gets involved in all the "boy drama" which ends up ruining her life. Depressed, unpopular and tortured Zoë is going to find out how telling the truth can save her butt. Overall I think this is a very good book with an interesting plot and a quirky bunch of characters. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sad love stories (me!) I would rate it a 3/5. ages 11+ Enjoy! :)

Secret Breakers

Secret Breakers is a book about dark and mysterious codes. There is this group called The Black Chamber that solve codes. The characters are Tusia, Brodie and Hunter. These three are ready for adventure and are up to working together.  Hunter is someone that loves food and when he misses his lunch he just nags and nags until he gets fed. Tusia is a person that always says let’s make a brainstorm and states the obvious. Brodie is the main character who we follow throughout the book. She is someone that thinks outside the square and states the really unobvious. So the whole book is about them finding the code. The big question is do they find it? I think this book
is  really good because I like adventures and mysteries and this book covers both aspects. I would recommend it to people aged 9 to 12 years.
